Brennan Hill is professor emeritus, Xavier University, Cincinnati, Ohio. He has taught theology for more than forty years, twenty-two of them at Xavier, the rest at Siena College, Seattle University, Saint Michael’s College, Marquette University, and the College of Saint Rose. The author of more than twenty books and hundreds of articles, Dr. Hill has four graduate degrees in both English and theology. His PhD is from Marquette University. He was the 2004 recipient of the Bishop Broderick Award, and he has been a member and president of the College Theology Society.
