HIGHER EDUCATION COMPLIANCE
As a higher education textbook publisher, Anselm Academic is in compliance with the amendment passed in 2008 by Congress to Part C of title I (20 U.S.C. 1015) of the Higher Education Act of 1965. This amendment (Section 133. Textbook Information) takes effect on 1 July 2010. The pricing and available formats of our products can be found on the product pages of this website and by clicking on the edition link listed in the title.

Net 30 days from invoice date. Pro forma invoicing or credit card prepayment may be required, dependent on credit and payment history. Individuals must prepay via check, MasterCard, or VISA.

CANCELING AN ORDER
When canceling an order, call customer care at 800-533-8095. The request must be received the same day in which the order was placed. Cancellation must take place prior to the order being shipped. Complete shipping and billing address and order number is required if the order was placed on our Web site.

SHIPPING AND HANDLING  

Additional shipping and handling charges will apply outside the continental United States. Most orders ship within 24 hours. To place a rush order, call our toll-free number and ask to speak with a customer care associate.

RETURN POLICY FOR ANSELM ACADEMIC
In-print and out-of-print titles in saleable condition (books, audio, video, etc.) may be returned within 6 months of original invoice date. The original invoice number, the date of the original invoice, and the discount received are necessary when making the return.

Product returned outside the 6 months from invoice date, or product returned without invoice information, will not be given credit and will not be returned to the customer. No credit will be granted for items not purchased directly from Anselm Academic.

A 10% restocking fee will be assessed for customers whose total product returns exceed 15% of gross purchases in the previous calendar year (evaluated and notified on a quarterly basis).

Please pack return merchandise carefully. Credit will be issued only for products that are received in saleable condition (as defined below). Returned items not in saleable condition will be discarded and will not be credited or shipped back to the customer.

Product returned must be in saleable condition. Credit will not be given for items in non-saleable condition, such as:

  • items that have been autographed, stamped, marked, stickered, or have sticker residue
  • items with bent, torn, or cut pages
  • items with dirty, scuffed, faded, damaged, or scratched pages or covers
  • items with damage due to improper packing upon return
  • games or card decks in which the shrink-wrap or seal has been opened or broken

Anselm Academic is not responsible for damages caused to returned materials in shipment. Customers are responsible for all shipping charges incurred on returned materials. Returns exceeding $25,000 will receive credit to customer account. A refund check will not be issued.
