Shelia O’Connell-Roussell


Sheila O’Connell-Roussell is a recipient of a 2009 Marylhurst University Excellence in Academic Service and Teaching Award. Sheila is a teacher, a dynamic speaker, and a gifted singer, songwriter, and playwright. She has a bachelor’s degree in theater arts, a master’s in religious education, a master’s of divinity, and a doctorate in ministry. Sheila has worked in parish, education, theater arts, and spiritual direction. Shelia is a contributing author to the Saint Mary’s Press College Study Bible and Vibrant Worship for Youth. Currently she plays the role of Mary of Nazareth in the play, Herstory: The Mother’s Tale and serves as University Minister and Associate Professor in Applied Theology and Scripture at Marylhurst University.
